Growing up in the mountains, my sister and I learned to entertain ourselves with things we had on hand. My grandparents bought me my first sewing machine when I was 6 years old and I began sewing little dresses for my dolls.
I have achieved the time worn look by revitalizing old vintage fabrics, vintage patterns, early buttons and old scraps of lace. All of my roadside signs are hand-painted on old wood that has been salvaged from early buildings that are either being torn down or have fallen down.
My old-fashioned roses are hand wrapped from ribbon using a technique from the Victorian Age. I have been making and selling them to stores and customers for over 20 years so I am excited to finally be marketing them on a website.
